A Lttle History
I’m a creative digital graphic designer, with an extensive skill set in print and web design, as well as client relations. Adept in creating powerful visual designs using digital illustrations, images and typography. Committed to helping clients shape their brand identity through the use of compelling layouts. Accustomed to collaborating with other creatives to achieve project goals.
After college I worked for a type house in the prepress department. Cutting Rubylith, Film-Stripping Negatives, Ran a "Stat" Camera, used a "Typositer" to set headlines, and even created "press-on type". Very old-school stuff. I jumped on the Mac as soon as it came out. I learned on the first version of Adobe Illustrator 88. You could only draw in outline mode, then preview your file. All on a very small monitor, but i loved it! Later, I ran a pre-press department, developed in-house preflight of customers files, then started training those clients.
So you can see, as someone with an old-school background in pre-press, I carry a toolbox of experience and skills to insure that every project heading for press looks its best and prints perfectly.
